Hey There - sorry for your troubles.
I don't think we've seen any issues with iPad Mini 1 - what oscRFR software version are you currently running ?
Send me an email at mothership ***at*** alienstagecraft ****dot**** com and we'll debug the system some more.

Re: Encoder Page Questions
16 Bit encoder control is something we need to look at. As I remember we could send a "encoder/fine" command to EOS - but that made all the OSC encoders into fine mode (EOS 16 bit Fine mode) It felt a little strange to toggle everything - so we decided to handle Coarse/Fine inside the App rather tha...

Re: Keystrokes have no function
This is almost always to do with a setup option somewhere. It sounds like you are getting communication in only 1 direction. Step 1 - Triple check the settings here : http://www.alienstagecraft.com/connecttoeos.html Step 2 - take screen shots of Setup, Network setup in the EOS Shell + post your Rout...

Re: Conflict runnning on EOS Nomand - DMX Contol Conflict
I'll ping Andrew again but at first glance
Change all the subnet masks to 255.255.0.0
If you can post a screen shot of the Setup > Showcontrol screen inside EOS

Re: Conflict runnning on EOS Nomand - DMX Contol Conflict
oscRFR and EOS do not require internet to operate - nor should you try to run the lighting console on a network attached to the internet. Have you gone through the setup procedure here : http://www.alienstagecraft.com/connecttoeos.html Post some pics of your setup settings so we can double check. Pi...

Re: Encoder Page Questions
So when you turn the encoder we send eos the instruction to move a specific wheel number. All we really have control over is how many "ticks" to move the wheel - with 1 being the smallest increment. It was meant to be 32 ticks per revolution - so going to 100% would take 3 revolutions. But these dev...

Re: Conflict runnning on EOS Nomand - DMX Contol Conflict
Hi Kevin, I have not heard of anything like this before. I'll ping Andrew an get him involved - he is more technically oriented, especially with Mac. It sounds like something to do with the peer to peer setup is causing the mac to stop talking over the network card. Whether this is a Mac problem or ...

Re: Encoder Page Questions
Thanks for the Feedback. Encoders "Slipping" - This is more or less a device thing. The device has to register the "movement" and tell the App - at which time we send EOS a "Tick" on the encoder. I've noticed the same kinds of problems with most every device I've tried. This is the downside to makin...

Re: Connected but Disconnected
Hey Craig, Sorry for your troubles. Is this the iOS version? The setup menu on iOS doesn't do the best job of displaying what's happening. Most likely there is some EOS setup issue. The oscRFR Settings menu is telling you you are connected to the network. The Red disconnected text is reflecting that...
